TimeTravlr (“TimeTravlr”, “the Company”, “we”, “us” or “our”) provides a mobile platform that connects travelers to recommendations provided by ambassadors and arranges for transportation to relevant events and venues (collectively, the “Platforms”). Platforms are available at and as an application for mobile devices (the “Platform”).

This privacy policy is intended to inform you about how we treat the Personal Information that we process. If you do no agree with any part of this policy we cannot provide a Platform to you and you should stop using the Platform and deactivate your TimeTravlr account.

1. Information you provide us

We receive, store and process information that you make available when accessing our platform. Examples include:

  • filling in any form on the Platform, such as when you register or update the details of your account
  • using the platform, such as listing or discovery of recommendations or requesting transportation to an event or venue

2. Mobile data

When you use certain features of the Platform, in particular our mobile application we may receive, store and process different types of information about your location, including general information (e.g., IP address, zip code) and more specific information (e.g., GPS-based functionality on mobile devices used to access the Platform or specific features of the platform). If you access the Platform through a mobile device and you do not want your device to provide us with location-tracking information, you can disable the GPS or other location-tracking functions on your device, provided your device allows you to do this.

3. Log data

We may also receive, store and process Log Data, which is information that is automatically recorded by our servers whenever you access or use the Platform, regardless of whether you are registered with TimeTravlr or logged in to your TimeTravlr account, such as your IP Address, the date and time you access or use the Platform, the hardware and software you are using, referring and exit pages and URLs, the number of clicks, pages viewed and the order of those pages, and the amount of time spent on particular pages.

4. Cookies and other tracking technologies

TimeTravlr uses cookies and other similar technologies on the Platform. A cookie is a data file placed on a Device when it is used to access the Platforms. A Flash cookie is a data file placed on a Device via the Adobe Flash plug-in that may be built-in to or downloaded by you to your Device. Cookies and Flash Cookies may be used for many purposes, including, without limitation, remembering you and your preferences and tracking your visits to our web pages. Cookies work by assigning a number to the user that has no meaning outside of the assigning website. If you do not want information to be collected through the use of cookies, your browser allows you to deny or accept the use of cookies. Cookies can be disabled or controlled by setting a preference within your web browser or on your Device. If you choose to disable cookies or Flash cookies on your Device, some features of the Platforms may not function properly or may not be able to customize the delivery of information to you. You should be aware that the Company cannot control the use of cookies (or the resulting information) by third-parties, and use of third party cookies is not covered by our Privacy Policy.

5. Third-party social plug-ins

Our Platform may use social plugins which are provided and operated by third-party companies, such as Facebook’s Like Button. As a result of this, you may send to the third-party company the information that you are viewing on a certain part of our Platform. If you are not logged into your account with the third-party company, then the third party may not know your identity. If you are logged into your account with the third-party company, then the third party may be able to link information about your visit to our Platform to your account with them. Similarly, your interactions with the social plugin may be recorded by the third party. Please refer to the third party’s privacy policy to find out more about its data practices, such as what data is collected about you and how the third party uses such data.

How do we use the information collected?

We use and process Information about you for the following general purposes:

  1. to enable you to access and use the Platform;
  2. to operate, protect, improve and optimize the Platform, TimeTravlr’s business, and travelers’ experience, such as to perform analytics, conduct research, and for advertising and marketing;
  3. to help create and maintain a trusted and safer environment on the Platform, such as fraud detection and prevention, conducting investigations and risk assessments and verifying Recommendations;
  4. to send you Platform, support and administrative messages, reminders, technical notices, updates, security alerts, and information requested by you;
  5. to comply with our legal obligations, resolve any disputes that we may have with any of our users, and enforce our agreements with third parties.

How and when do we disclose information to third parties?

We share the location of event and venue recommendations with transportation providers. We may share non-personally identifiable information, such as aggregated user statistics and log data, with third parties for industry analysis, demographic profiling, to deliver targeted advertising about other products or Platforms, or for other business purposes. We do not sell, share, rent or trade the information we have collected about you, including Personal Information, other than as disclosed within this Privacy Policy or at the time you provide your information. We do not share your Personal Information with third parties for those third parties' direct marketing purposes unless you consent to such sharing at the time you provide your Personal Information.

Additionally, we will cooperate with government and law enforcement officials and private parties to enforce and comply with the law. Thus, we may access, use, preserve, transfer and disclose your information (including Personal Information), including disclosure to third parties such as government or law enforcement officials or private parties as we reasonably determine is necessary and appropriate.

What about user-generated content?

The Platform may permit you to publish ideas, photographs, user profiles, writings, music, video, audio recordings, computer graphics, pictures, data, questions, comments, suggestions or other content, including Personal Information (collectively, “Member Content"). We or others may reproduce, publish, distribute or otherwise use Member Content online or offline in any media or format (currently existing or hereafter developed). Others may have access to this Member Content and may have the ability to share it with third parties across the Internet. You should be aware that any Member Content you provide in these areas may be read, collected, and use by others who access them. Please note that Company does not control who will have access to the information that you choose to make public, and cannot ensure that parties who have access to such publicly available information will respect your privacy or keep it secure. This Privacy Policy does not apply to any information that you disclose publicly, share with others or otherwise upload, whether through the Platforms or otherwise. We are not responsible for the accuracy, use or misuse of any content or information that you disclose or receive through the Platform.

Do links to third-party content appear on the Platform?

The Platform may contain content that is supplied by a third party, and those third parties may collect web site usage information and your Device Identifier when web pages from any online or mobile Platforms are served to your browser. In addition, when you are using the Platform, you may be directed to other sites or applications that are operated and controlled by third parties that we do not control. We are not responsible for the privacy practices employed by any of these third parties. These other web sites may send their own cookies to you, independently collect data or solicit Personal Information and may or may not have their own published privacy policies. We encourage you to note when you leave our Platforms and to read the privacy statements of all third party web sites or applications before submitting any Personal Information to third parties.

How do I change my information or cancel my account?

You are responsible for maintaining the accuracy of the information you submit to us, such as your contact information provided as part of account registration. If your Personal Information changes, or if you no longer wish to use the Platform, you may correct, delete inaccuracies, or amend information by making the change on our member information page or by contacting us at If you wish to cancel your account or request that we no longer use your information to provide you Platforms, contact us.

We will retain your Personal Information and Usage Information (including geo-location) for as long as your account with the Platform is active and as needed to provide you Platforms. Even after your account is terminated, we will retain your Personal Information as needed to comply with our legal and regulatory obligations, resolve disputes, investigate or prevent fraud and other inappropriate activity, to enforce our agreements, and for other business reasons.

Security Information

The information we collect is securely stored within our databases, and we use standard, industry-wide, commercially reasonable security practices such as encryption, firewalls and SSL (Secure Socket Layers) for protecting your information. However, as effective as encryption technology is, no security system is impenetrable. We cannot guarantee the security of our databases, nor can we guarantee that information you supply won't be intercepted while being transmitted to us over the Internet or wireless communication, and any information you transmit to the Company you do at your own risk. We recommend that you not disclose your password to anyone.
